FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
How is this different from just posting a video on my site?+
A video by itself carries no proof — a visitor has to take your word for it. Genyouine videos come with a certificate page anyone can check. And if someone copies your video elsewhere, the proof stays on our domain, so a stolen copy is just a video with no badge.
Phones already sign photos now. Why do I need this?+
A phone signature proves the pixels came from a camera. It cannot prove this is a real, identifiable customer of your business who was invited properly and disclosed on record. That relationship and disclosure is what a testimonial's trust rests on — and it's what we prove.
What if a customer says something wrong or awkward?+
Nothing goes public until you approve it. Recordings land in your dashboard; you review each one and choose what to publish to your wall.
Could someone fake it?+
No system makes fraud impossible — and anyone who claims otherwise is bluffing. Editing, backdating, swapping, or tampering are mathematically blocked; the proof visibly breaks. Faking a live person (a deepfake or actor) has to beat a live prompt and be tied to a real customer — expensive and rarely worth it. We say all of this plainly; the honesty is the point.
Is it FTC compliant?+
It's built for the FTC's fake-testimonial rule. We capture the disclosure question on camera and keep it on record — exactly what the rule is about. We never verify a customer's results claims; that stays your responsibility, and our certificate says so.
How do my customers use it?+
You send them a link. They open it in their browser — phone or computer, no app — enter their name, agree, and record in one take. It comes to you; you approve it; it goes on your wall. About two minutes for them.
What does it cost?+
$99 one-time setup, then $49 per month. Cancel anytime.
